What makes you get up at 7 a.m. for CASP?

It’s the only community gathering of dedicated individuals working towards bringing solutions for peace and community prosperity in Monterey County.  There is no other place where I see churches, non-profits, elected, law enforcement and education working together, not just once or twice, but throughout the entire year.

How do you feel about serving on the CASP Board of Directors?

Serving on the CASP Board is one of my functions as the co-chair of CASP [with Salinas Mayor Gunter], but even if it weren’t, I would want to anyway.  The Board Meetings allow a smaller group to discuss direction and plan strategically between full CASP meetings.
