Mandated Reporter Training Update

The model for Mandated Reporter (MR) training has been updated during this time. Those in need of MR training are asked to complete a general 4 hour MR training created by the state of California, along with any other training that is appropriate for their specific group (i.e. clergy, law enforcement, clinicians etc.)

Once completed the group can request a follow-up 60-90 minute Q&A with Ginger Pierce. Ginger Pierce can be contacted at piercevr@co.monterey.ca.us .  

Although there is no specific video for APS reporting, https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/adult-protective-services (CDSS link) provides specific information and resources.

A local Monterey County CAPC site is on the works. Meanwhile, those in need of resources can refer to the Bay Area CAPC website which is  filled with links and resources supported by all Bay Area Counties, including Monterey.
