Meet our CASP board member Rosemary Soto
Rosemary Soto works for the County of Monterey. She serves as a liaison with community members and organizations working to reduce violence, and connects them to available public resources. She acts as a link between the regional efforts throughout the county. Because she seeks partnerships to further this work, CASP is a natural fit for her and her interests. The professional network around the table advances a multi-sector approach and holistic solutions.
Rosemary is one of the original members of CASP. “Its remarkable improvement has come from the strength of the collaboration, from years of growing together and working together. There’s a lot of commitment around the table…” and some original members. “If you are serving youth dealing with the challenges and disparities that are involved in gang/system involvement, then you will find the partnerships in CASP that will help you address the many layers of root causes.”
Rosemary was born and raised in Salinas, and lives in Salinas now with her black terrier mix dog named, “Blackie.”
